ASBO International Wins Gold at National Association Media & Publishing Awards
Reston, VA – June 28, 2018 – The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) received top honors at the Association Media & Publishing’s (AM&P) 38th annual EXCEL Awards Gala this week, bringing home the Gold in the category of Digital Newsletter Redesign for its 2017 content and design overhaul of the Accents enewsletter.
AM&P’s EXCEL Awards is the largest and most comprehensive awards program that recognizes excellence and leadership in nonprofit association media, publishing, marketing, and communications. This year, the award program received 841 entries, from which 300 finalists were selected, and 90 winners were recognized with a gold EXCEL award. Winners were chosen for “taking bold chances in editorial, design, advertising and marketing, online publishing, and electronic newsletter categories.”

The winners were announced at the 38th EXCEL Awards Gala on June 25, 2018, in Washington, D.C., as part of the 2018 AM&P Annual Meeting.
