Positive Impact Program: St. Vincent de Paul Home Makeovers
Positive Impact Program projects, designed to give back to our annual meeting host city and its citizens in need, are great examples of service—and leadership—in action. Along with insights to take back to your district, ASBO’s AM&E offers another kind of takeaway: the opportunity to make a difference.
Join us on Monday, October 15 from 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in Phoenix, Arizona as we partner with St. Vincent de Paul to provide home makeovers for two Phoenix families in need--the Hernandez and Manriquez families. In the space of a few hours, we’ll transform their barren houses into a warm, welcoming homes. At the end of the day, we’ll welcome them back for big reveals. Join us for an afternoon of painting, decorating, organizing, and fellowship as we work to leave a positive footprint in our host city.

Meet the Hernandez and Manriquez families.
Donate much needed project supplies and decorative items for our home makeovers by purchasing an item from the Hernandez or Manriquez family wish lists. No contribution is too small! **If making a purchase on Walmart.com, please select in-store pickup for Store #2515 Phoenix Walmart Supercenter, so ASBO staff and local volunteers can pick up donations in time for project day.
If you do not see a specific item you’d like to donate,
consider making a monetary donation via a gift card so our local
volunteers can shop for remaining project needs. You can also
pledge to donate cash by emailing Lisa Sparrow. We’ll be
collecting funds to purchase second-hand furniture, mattresses, ceiling
fans, paint, and more. Any and all contributions are welcome.
There is no fee to participate, but space is limited; be sure to register early. Please do not register for this event if you are not sure you will be able to attend. Our Phoenix families will be counting on us!
