ASBO International’s 93rd Annual Meeting & Exhibits October 12 - 15, 2007

Toronto, one of the world’s most diverse and cosmopolitan cities, hosted more than 1,500 school business professionals for ASBO International’s 93rd Annual Meeting & Exhibits. Colleagues in school business management from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Argentina, India, Australia, and more united to advance the profession and to share ideas to help the students they serve.
World-Class Professional Development Known as the premier professional development event for the profession, this year’s meeting held to ASBO’s reputation. From facilities to technology to budgeting, the meeting covered all the hats that school business officials wear.

Highlights included:

• The 10+ hours of 403(b) sessions, including a presentation by Bob Architect from the IRS, helped guide U.S. members on how to implement the new 403(b) regulations.
• The new Thought Leader sessions, addressing critical leadership topics from communication styles to empowering organizations, were a hit.

• From ASBO’s first-ever silent auction to the Exhibit Hall Happy Hour, the conference gave attendees more opportunities to meet with companies that have a commitment to education.

Conference attendees can log on to ASBO’s new Live Learning Center and access recorded sessions, even ones you didn’t attend, for free. Even if you didn’t make it to Toronto, you can purchase access.
