How can I find in depth articles about best practices?
School Business Affairs is mailed to members 11 times a year. You may also log in to view the digital SBA online and review the annual index of articles in the Members Only area of the Website.

Is there certification for my profession?
The Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations® (SFO®) program offers recognition for school business professionals with outstanding knowledge and skills in the field.

Can I get recognition for my district?
Districts that earn the coveted Certificate of Excellence (COE) and Meritorious Budget Award (MBA) receive promotion from ASBO and enhanced credibility for the financial management of their school system.

Are there individual award programs?
The Eagle Awards program recognizes individuals who are models in school business management leadership. The Pinnacle Awards recognize professionals who have implemented outstanding practices, proposals, or new ideas in their school district.
