ASBO International Board Vacancy Announcement
A vacancy has occurred on the Board of Directors. The remaining two years of the director's term will be filled, per ASBO Bylaws, as follows.
Acting Director (temporary, appointed position)
The Board of Directors will appoint an acting director who meets the eligibility requirements of a director to serve from the date of appointment through December 31, 2013. The person selected for this position can also run in the 2014 election to fill the vacant director position. The deadline to submit an application for consideration for this position is October 22, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern.
When you submit your application, please remember to also submit a current resume and the signed Code of Conduct. To submit your packet, please send the appropriate documents to boardvacancy@asbointl.org. Upon receiving your email, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
Vacant Director (elected position)
The vacant director position will be filled through the election process held during the 2013 election, to serve for one year beginning January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. The deadline to submit nomination materials for that election is January 4, 2013. Please refer to the Election Rules for candidacy requirements.
