Award Categories
Each year, ASBO International awards one Pinnacle of Excellence Award and three Pinnacle of Achievement Awards.

The Pinnacle of Excellence Award recipient receives:

  • A check for $5,000
  • An all expenses paid trip for the recipient and a guest to the ASBO International Annual Meeting
  • $5,000 of Virco school furniture for the school entity
  • The prestigious, crystal Pinnacle of Excellence Award
  • Recognition at ASBO International's Annual Meeting, on ASBO's Website, in School Business Affairs magazine, and in press releases

The Pinnacle of Achievement Award recipients receive:

  • A check for $1,000
  • The prestigious, crystal Pinnacle of Achievement Award
  • Recognition at ASBO International's Annual Meeting, on ASBO's Website, in School Business Affairs magazine, and in press releases

Deadline Date
All application materials must be postmarked no later than June 1 and sent to:

Selection Process
Recipients are chosen by an independent selection panel. Neither ASBO International staff nor ASBO members are on the selection panel. The selection panel reviews the application to verify the candidate has adhered to application guidelines, reviews the one-page biography, and evaluates the project summary for its clarity and innovative and replicable idea.

Award Recipients Requirements
Award recipients may be requested to submit supplemental materials to enhance the development of the Pinnacle video show at the Annual Meeting. ASBO is unable to return original materials.  

All recipients must furnish their Social Security Number or Canadian Social Insurance Number.
