Eligibilty & Awards
Eligibility
- Candidates must be members of ASBO International and be employed full-time as a school business officials by a school district, university, or college.
- Current members of ASBO’s Board of Directors are ineligible.
- Previous award recipients are welcome to submit an application; however, they may only apply for the International Eagle Award.
Award Categories
As a recipient of the prestigious Eagle Award, you recieve recognition for your dedication to the profession and your achievements as a school business official.
The International Eagle Award recipient receives:
- A $5,000 scholarship to present to a high school senior.
- An all-expenses paid invitation to attend the Eagle Institute, ASBO’s prestigious leadership development conference.
- A magnificent crystal eagle statue.
- The distinguished Eagle Award pin.
- Recognition at ASBO's Annual Meeting, on ASBO's Website, in School Business Affairs, and in press releases.
The Distinguished Eagle Award recipients receive:
- A $2,500 scholarship to present to a high school senior.
- An all-expense-paid invitation to attend the Eagle Institute, ASBO’s prestigious leadership development conference.
- A magnificent crystal eagle statue.
- The distinguished Eagle Award pin.
- Recognition at ASBO's Annual Meeting, on ASBO's Website, in
School Business Affairs, and in press releases.
